Hello there!
My name is Emerald! I'm your friendly neighborhood artist who loves sweet treats, movies, Pokémon, my fur babies, and the love of my life, my husband! I have always loved creating art, way back when I would try to get artwork into the local Mall Art Show. While in High School, I had two incredible art teachers (shoutout Mrs. Dutcher and Mrs. Z!) that guided me with ambitious projects during my independent art studies. Fast forward 10 years, and now my job is to paint couples on the happiest day of their lives!
My Story
A year ago, I was working at a local restaurant, trying to find time wherever I could to create and paint.. A friend asked me early last year if I would be interested in doing a live wedding painting for her family. I too have seen the Tik Tok's, so I jumped at the opportunity! It was easy to be inspired and excited surrounded by so much beauty and love, but something sparked in my brain, and I spent the drive home on cloud 9 trying to figure out how I could do that forever. Here we are!
Having a Live Painting is a unique and entertaining wedding service where I create a painting that guests can see come to life throughout the ceremony and reception. If I see a kid cautiously watching from afar, don't be surprised if you see me pass the brush to them- it's amazing to see how their eyes light up when given the opportunity to [literally] make their mark!
I know from personal experience that wedding planning can be overwhelming and stressful. From the initial inquiry to the pre-wedding design consultation, up to the big day, my goal is to bring your wedding painting vision to life seamlessly. Every wedding is a unique opportunity, designed around the couples' aesthetic and personal taste.
